Our Story
Crimson Cup Bangladesh was born in 2015 out of the passion and perseverance of two childhood friends, Rehanur Rahman and Mohaimin Mostafa. After studying abroad, they returned home with a mission — to introduce the true essence of specialty coffee culture to Bangladesh. At a time when cafés were more about ambiance than quality brews, they dared to be different. Despite numerous rejections, their determination finally brought Crimson Cup Coffee & Tea to Dhaka — making it the first international coffee franchise to open in the country.
The first outlet in Banani broke new ground with its self-service concept, authentic coffee offerings, and the launch of Bangladesh’s original Frappuccino. From the beginning, Crimson Cup was more than just a coffee shop — it was a community. They wanted to create a space where people could connect over great coffee, ideas, and stories.
